Idara E. Bassey is an attorney, spiritual coach and mixed media artist. Her work has appeared in The Metaphysical Messenger, the online literary journal Moondance as well as feature films produced by DreamWorks Pictures and HBO. She was also a contributing writer to the Black women's anthology Tender headed: A Comb-Bending Collection of Hair Stories (Pocket Books, 2001), which included the writing of such luminaries as Alice Walker, Toni Morrison, and Bell Hooks.

She is author of the recently published essay collection, Reflections of a Mystical Sistah: On Traveling Down the Road to Self-Definition. She has been actively involved in using her finely honed intuitive abilities on behalf of private and corporate clients since 1991. Her chosen modalities are psychometry (energy reading based on physical objects), the pendulum, automatic writing and intuitive channeling to tap into the wisdom of the mystical plane. She earned a Doctoral Degree in Metaphysical Counseling from the University of Metaphysics (Sedona) and has been certified as a Six Sensory Professional Practitioner by world-renowned vibrational healer and spiritual teacher, Dr. Sonia Choquette.

Ms. Bassey is uniquely qualified to bridge the gap between the two realms. She conducts psychometry readings to assist individuals with their personal and/or professional challenges, trains corporate executives to access their intuition to improve their strategic advantage and assists New Age entrepreneurs with living their light while minding the law. Based in Atlanta, GA she enjoys writing, reading voraciously and traveling. She is available for individual, group, and corporate consultation.
